First Presbyterian Church presents 'Lessons in Lights'
Julie Glaspie-Eustis will present Lessons in Lights at the First Presbyterian Church (2nd and Oklahoma) on Maundy Thursday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m.
Julie states, "It is always such an honor to come back home and perform, but this program will be particularly special to me. Whereas most of my programs are based strictly on music or specific Bible characters, this one is truly based on my personal journeys - which of course contain much of my time growing up in Fort Stockton. We are all the sum of those who have put into our lives from birth to death and what we have chosen to do with that. I have been richly blessed by this community."
As a veteran of women's events, Julie is a strong motivational speaker and enjoys speaking on many different topics. She brings the scripture to life through a recount of her personal walk with Christ. She enjoys leading conferences using breakout sessions and team teaching.
Julie is the daughter of local resident Peggy Stovall and was a graduate of the Fort Stockton High School class of 1978 and went on to study music at Angelo State University. She is now a financial consultant for UBS Financial Services in San Angelo. She recorded in Nashville with BMG Studios and her feature CD is titled Embraced. She is currently working on a new project to be released in September.
