Couple to wed at historic hotel

The engagement of Tyler Shay Lyda and Phillip Peacock has been announced by their parents.

The bride to be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Lyda, Fort Stockton.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Peacock, Fort Stockton.

A wedding at the historic Gage Hotel in Marathon will unite the couple in marriage July 28.

After a honeymoon in Australia, the couple will make their home in Fort Stockton where they are both employed in the ranching and cattle industry.
